Park and Trail Closures:

Pollock Park in the Borough of Pottstown is closed. The park will be remediated and redeveloped with new recreation facilities.

Towpath Park in East Coventry Township is closed. The park's redevelopment project is nearing completion. The section of the SRT within the park is open, but the parking area is closed. Parking is available at the Frick's Lock Trailhead.
Signal Box Art Project
Calling all Artists! The Pottstown Public Arts Project invites artists to apply to create a mural on utility boxes located in the Borough of Pottstown. The goal of the project is to use all four sides of the utility boxes to display art that will enhance Pottstown’s visual surroundings. Artists will submit their designs and the Pottstown Public Arts Project Committee will make selections. Artists will be paid for their time and materials. Revolutionary Ironmasters
Saturday, Jan. 24, 1pm, Pottsgrove Manor, 100 W. King St., Pottstown. Start America’s 250th birthday year strong by attending a lecture with researcher and author Dan Graham on the Pennsylvania Ironmasters during the Revolutionary War. This presentation will explore their contributions to the Continental Army and Navy. Nation-making begins with those supplying the revolutionary cause.
Beehive: The 60’s Musical
Friday, Feb. 6 – Sunday, Feb. 22, SteelRiver Playhouse, 245 E. High St., Pottstown. Come watch SteelRiver Playhouse put on Beehive, a vibrant celebration of the powerful female voices that defined a decade. Featuring classic hits and unforgettable energy, it’s a joyous journey through the music, fashion, and spirit of the 1960s.
Colonial Bookbinding: A Presentation by Ramon Townsend
Friday, Feb. 6, 6pm, Pottsgrove Manor, 100 W. King St., Pottstown. February at Pottsgrove Manor is one for the books! Paper made the world go round for John Potts’s iron empire. It's a story that goes beyond currency or paper money: daybooks, journals, and ledgers proved invaluable for recordkeeping! Join colonial bookbinder, Ramon Townsend, at Pottsgrove Manor for a “tell and show” all about the history of 18th-century bookmaking.
