Signal Box Art Project
Calling all Artists! The Pottstown Public Arts Project invites artists to apply for a public art project in which artists create public art on utility boxes located in the Borough of Pottstown, PA. The goal of the project is to use all four sides of the utility boxes to display art that will enhance Pottstown’s visual surroundings. Art should cover all exposed sides and top of the box, if possible. Artists will submit their designs and the Pottstown Public Arts Project Committee will make selections. Artists will be paid for their time and materials. See the application form and materials list below for more information.
Park and Trail Closures:
Pollock Park in the Borough of Pottstown is closed. The park will be remediated and redeveloped with new recreation facilities.

Saturday, April 5, 11am, Barto Community Park, 120 Barto Rd., Barto. Come out and enjoy a easter egg hunt with golden egg prizes, doggie egg hunt, craft fair with free kids crafts, and pictures with the Easter Bunny! *Rain date of Sunday, April 6th.

Saturday, April 5, 9am – 1pm Washington Township Municipal Building, 120 Barto Rd., Barto. Come discover a treasure trove of unique handmade crafts, made by residents. $10.00 spaces & $5.00 tables for vendors
John Doyle Rock the Wall 5K & 10K
Saturday, April 5th at 9am, Towpath Park, 1597 New Schuylkill Rd (Route 724), Pottstown. Registration starts at 7:30am, and race begins at 9am. Open to runners and walkers of all ages! Leashed dogs are welcome.
Family Forest Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 5, 10am – 1pm Althouse Arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Rd, Pottstown. Take a hike to look for eggs and bring them back to win prizes! Enjoy Family Bingo, crafts, food, “build your own” pizza, and more. $10 per family.
Easter Bunny at the Carousel at Pottstown
Sunday, April 6, 1pm – 3pm, The Carousel at Pottstown, 30 W. King St. Take a picture with the Easter Bunny, free kids craft, color an Easter picture for a free ride, refreshments for purchase, and an Easter Egg surprise with each carousel ride ticket
Althouse Arboretum's Bird Walk
Sunday, April 6, 8:30am, Althouse Arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Road, Pottstown. Join us for a morning bird walk led by Vince Smith, President of the Valley Forge Audubon Society. Free event (donations accepted).
