Signal Box Art Project
Calling all Artists! The Pottstown Public Arts Project invites artists to apply to create a mural on utility boxes located in the Borough of Pottstown. The goal of the project is to use all four sides of the utility boxes to display art that will enhance Pottstown’s visual surroundings. Artists will submit their designs and the Pottstown Public Arts Project Committee will make selections. Artists will be paid for their time and materials. Pottstown Nights Car Show
Saturday, August 1, 3pm- 9pm, High St., Pottstown. Stroll downtown Pottstown and view some beautiful cars at the Pottstown Nights Car Show.
Pottsgrove Summer Concert Series
Sunday, August 2, 6pm, Sanatoga Park, 223 S. Sanatoga Rd., Pottstown. Hosted by Lower Pottsgrove Township and JP Mascaro & Sons. Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the band. Weather permitting-please check the Lower Pottsgrove Facebook page.
Fig Festival
Saturday, August 29, 10am-4pm, Althouse Arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Rd., Pottstown. The Pennsylvania Fig Festival is an annual celebration of figs and fig-tree culture. It’s one of the only events of its kind in the state focused specifically on figs from cultivation to food, fun, and education. There will be fig tree growers selling live trees along with other vendors! Donation is $10 per car.
Meetings
The August PARRC meeting will be held on Wednesday, the 26th at 4:30pm and will be a hybrid format. Location: Pottstown Borough Hall, 100 E. High Street, Pottstown and on-line.
