The Pottstown Tourism and Recreation (“TRec”) District is the collection of park, recreation and entertainment attractions located in the western end of the Borough of Pottstown. Pottstown Area Economic Development (PAED) formed the TRec district to plan, market, and raise funds to establish Pottstown as a regional tourism destination. It is essential for Pottstown's economic revitalization to capitalize on these unique and beautiful assets. The leaders of the TRec District meet on a bi-monthly basis to coordinate and plan for activities, events, and increased connectivity to the rest of Pottstown and to the region. Assets in the district include:

• Manatawny Green Mini Golf Course

• Pottsgrove Manor

• Memorial Park

• Riverfront Park

• Smith Family Plaza

• Schuylkill River Trail

• Schuylkill River

• Schuylkill River Greenway Association, National Heritage Area & Interpretive Center
