Thanks to funding from Schuylkill Highlands Conservation Landscape Minigrant Program, Sanatoga Park can direct visitors with its beautiful new entrance sign.
New visitors to Sanatoga Park will have no trouble finding their way thanks to a brand-new entrance sign that's been recently installed. The sign was created using a Schuylkill Highlands minigrant for $2,500, along with matching funds of $2,000 from the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation. This signage project is part of a series of recent and planned improvements to the park, located on South Sanatoga Road in Lower Pottsgrove. A new playground was added near the park's bandshell this past spring, and projects to build a parking area and a pavilion with ADA access are planned for 2024.
Sanatoga Park is a popular space for community events, sports and many other outdoor activities. It offers a small lake, athletic fields, a basketball court, wooded areas, and bandshell which hosts a yearly summer concert series. Thanks to funders such as Schuylkill Highlands Conservation Land Scape and Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation, upgrades and renovations such as these can be made to support easier access and more opportunities for outdoor recreation.
