Ringing Rocks Park Sees Accessibility Improvements

As warmer weather returns and more residents head outdoors, recent improvements at Ringing Rocks Park are helping to make the space more accessible and easier to navigate for all visitors. Located off Keim Street and Yerger Road, the park now features a newly paved driveway and parking area

as well as an ADA-accessible bench near the pond.

In addition to providing a smoother surface for vehicles and pedestrians, the project included accessibility features to better accommodate those with mobility needs.

Funding for the improvements came from two local grants, a $10,000 grant from the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation (PAHWF) and $23,400 from the Pottstown Metropolitan Regional Planning Committee (PMRPC). The support helps in maintaining and enhancing outdoor recreational areas throughout the region.

This project will also include the addition of a new entrance signage to better indicate the location of the park and match existing signage in Lower Pottsgrove. This will be installed at a later date, so follow us on www.parrc.net to stay informed.
